JFK Intern Claims President Took Virginity | Bangstyle :: A Global ...

It?s no secret that?true or false?there have been no shortage of allegations of sexual misconduct and the airings of affairs of prominent figures in the news. Some of the highlights from 2011 include: Jesse James, Tiger Woods, and Anthony Weiner. Newt Gingrich has been under scrutiny for the accusation he asked his second, now-ex-wife for an ?open marriage.? ?Most of these accusations have been towards those still living, breathing, and sewing their seeds (albeit a few years late).

That changed today, when one of President John F. Kennedy?s former interns published a book entitled?Once Upon a Secret: My Affair with President John F. Kennedy and Its Aftermath, declaring the former president took her virginity.?

?Slowly, he unbuttoned the top of my shirtdress and touched my breasts,? the now 69-year-old grandmother Mimi Alford wrote, in excerpts published by the New York Post. ?Then he reached up between my legs and started to pull off my underwear. I finished unbuttoning my shirtdress and let it fall off my shoulders.?

Grandma clearly didn?t skimp on the dirty details. Alford writes in her book, to be released Wednesday (the Post picked up a copy early in a Manhattan bookstore), that the 18-month affair began when ?Mr. President??as she called him?caught her eye while taking his mid-afternoon dip in the White House pool. ?

One thing led to another, and after a mere stretch of afternoon, Alford?then 19-year-old Mimi Beardsley?was invited to an after-work party by the President?s ?first friend,? Dave Powers. A few daiquiris later, ?Mr. President? stole Alford away for a personal tour of the White House, which the two consummated, with a note of irony, in Mrs. Kennedy?s bedroom.?

?After he finished, he hitched up his pants and smiled at me,? Alford says. ?I was in shock.? she continues. ?He, on the other hand, was matter-of-fact, and acted as if what had just occurred was the most natural thing in the world.?

?Would you like something to eat?? JFK asked. ?The kitchen?s right here.?

?No, thank you, Mr. President.?

So it began. The rest of the novel goes into the nitty-gritty of the playboy president?s constantly alternating sensitive and dark side. He never kissed her on the lips. He cried when one of his children with Jackie Kennedy died. In one particularly nasty excerpt, Alford recalls how ?Mr. President? asked her to fellatiate Powers poolside to help him ?relax.? Alford writes she complied while the President watched (though he later apologized to them both, she noted).?

Another instance describes how the president became melancholy as she was leaving to go back to school and gave him a going-away gift.?

?You?re trying to make me cry,? he said.

Yet the affair continued anyway, until Alford met him for the last time on November 15, 1963 in a New York hotel?a week before JFK would be assassinated. Alford was engaged to be married at the time. She writes, ?Remember, Mr. President, I?m getting married,?? to which he responded, ??I know that.? ?But I?ll call you anyway.??

Why Alford decided to uncover her deflowerer?s identity for the first time 50 years later is unclear, though Random House states that a Kennedy biographer notes Alford?s gorgeous appearance in his 2003 book. ?The disclosure set off a tabloid frenzy and soon exposed Mimi and the secret that she had kept for 41 years,? CNN quotes from the publisher?s website.

But the former president has no means of defending himself, presenting the complications of post-mortem accusation. No matter how lewd the detail, Alford?s first time will remain somewhat secret.?
